Abstract

An MAC (message authentication code) address of a sensor node comprises a cluster address and intra-cluster addresses. The cluster-based dynamic address distribution method for the wireless sensor network comprises the following steps: firstly forming a cluster address multiplexing region by combining clusters so as to obtain a cluster address; then distributing intra-cluster addresses of different lengths to each node in the cluster; successively updating the addresses on the basis of utility functions; and comprehensively considering current and historical energy-consumption situations of each node to determine the updating time of the intra-cluster node addresses.
