Abstract

The invention discloses an image type knife switch in-place monitoring system and method. The monitoring system consists of a reflective marker, a light source, a lens, a camera, a protective mechanism, transmission cables and a computer. The reflective marker is arranged on a moving part of a knife switch and moves along with the knife switch. The light source, the lens and the camera are all arranged inside the protective mechanism and near the knife switch. The reflective marker is illuminated by the light source; the knife switch including the reflective marker is imaged onto an image surface of the camera through the lens; the obtained image is transmitted into the computer; and after the image is processed, whether the knife switch is in place and contacted reliably is finally judged. By adoption of a non-contact image measuring principle, whether the contact is reliable can be judged simultaneously when whether the knife switch is in place is judged. Meanwhile, the image type knife switch in-place monitoring system is strong in interference resistance, convenient to install, water-proof and dust-proof, applicable to knife switches of any specifications and types, excellent in universality, and widely applied to knife switch monitoring in various smart substations.
