Abstract

The invention discloses a vessel for a microwave oven. The vessel comprises a base and an upper cover, water is accommodated in the base, and a steaming partition and a steaming tray are sequentially arranged between the base and the upper cover, wherein the steaming tray is arranged on the steaming partition; the steaming partition is provided with a plurality of through holes through which steam passes; the steaming tray comprises a main body part and a supporting part positioned below the main body part; the supporting part is provided with gaps through which the steam passes in the horizontal direction; and a space facilitating upward movement of the steam is formed in the upper edge of the steaming tray and the side wall edge of the steaming partition. The supporting part of the steaming tray is wavy, the supporting part encircles an annular space, and the bottom of the main body part of the steaming tray is arranged in the annular space. The base comprises a water accommodating part and a holding part, the holding part is formed by extending the upper edge of the water accommodating part, and a vacancy for reducing transfer of heat is arranged between the water accommodating part and the holding part.
