Provided is a side milling cutter with composite function, mainly comprising a seat body, a locking apparatus, a cutter bar module, and a transmission system, wherein the seat body comprises a main seat body and an auxiliary seat body, with the auxiliary seat body arranged upon the main seat body and being capable of rotating around the fixed rotating center upon the main seat body; and the locking apparatus is used for locking the auxiliary seat body upon the main body, thereby making the auxiliary seat body unable to rotate upon the main seat body. With the technical scheme, the included angle between the main seat body and the auxiliary seat body can be adjusted, thereby making the side milling cutter of the invention be applicable to other processing methods, such as hobbing processing, and so on. In addition, the cutter bar module comprises a cutter bar and a bearing member that can be assembled in advance and can be disassembled from the seat body as a complete set. Therefore, the damage to the cutter bar resulting from the bumping of the cutter bar can be avoided.
