Abstract

The invention discloses a system and a method for achieving a cross-platform graphic library, which is applied in the information technology field. A new cross-platform graphic library is provided to solve the defect that a cross-platform graphic library in the prior art is not suitable for the development of an embedded system. A set of complete and uniform developing interfaces are provided for a developer using the graphic library provided in the invention. The graphic library which is suitably applied in divergent system platforms is enabled to call primary graphic library functions based on the platforms. The system comprises a platform independent layer applied for providing a developing interface API function for a user; a platform related layer applied for docking with the API function of the platform independent layer and interacting with the primary graphic library function of a specific platform. The graphic library system in the embodiments of the invention is very light and suitably applied for the development of the embedded system.
