Abstract

The invention discloses a storage medium switching control system which is applied to a test server. The test server is connected with a to-be-tested server through a network interface, and both the servers comprise baseboard management controllers (BMC). Communication connection of the BMC of the test server and the to-be-tested server is established by the system, all the storage media of the to-be-tested server are acquired by scanning, and one of the storage media is selected as a start device of the to-be-tested server. The system sends a start command to the start device so that a test program stored in the start device is started. After receiving a test result fed back from the to-be-tested server, the system reselects another storage medium as a start device of the to-be-tested server until all the storage media are selected as the started devices, and accordingly, the test programs stored in the different storage media of the to-be-tested server can be switched and operated automatically to test corresponding test items of the to-be-tested server. The invention further provides a storage medium switching control method.
