Abstract

The invention discloses a rapid route updating method for a rail traffic communication system based on a WLAN (wireless local area network). The rapid route updating method comprises the following steps: step1. in the forward process of a train, after a vehicle-mounted STA (single threaded apartment ) switches from a trackside AP (access point) to another trackside AP, the trackside AP newly connected can immediately obtain the MAC (media access control) address of the vehicle-mounted STA, then the massage containing the MAC address of the vehicle-mounted STA is sent to a trackside server; and step 2. after the trackside server receives the massage containing the MAC address of the vehicle-mounted STA, the content of the massage is analyzed, if the MAC address of the vehicle-mounted STA conforms to the standard of the MAC address of the internet, the MAC address replies the correct responding message, and a routing table of the server is immediately updated; if not, the inaccurate responding message returns.
