The image sensor comprises a plurality of photosensitive elements which are arranged into a plurality of rows and a plurality of arrays. Among a flat field image produced by the image sensor, the luminance standard deviation of every pixel row is larger than the luminance standard deviation of every pixel array, or the luminance standard deviation of every pixel array is larger than the luminance standard deviation of every pixel row. According to the image sensor and the optics touch and control system with the image sensor, the luminance standard deviation of the image can be directly calculated, and target image can be found among the differences of distribution of the luminance standard deviation. No prestored background image is needed, so that storage space needed to store the background image can be saved, and captured image and the background image need not reducing, so that calculating steps are reduced.
