An average color value of the reference gray points and the number of the reference gray points are calculated. Whether color temperature information of the image is valid or not can be judged according to the number of the reference gray points and the color temperature deviation threshold. If the color temperature information of the image is valid, a white balance correction coefficient is calculated according to the average color value of the reference gray points, and a corrected color value of the each pixel unit is calculated according to the white balance correction coefficient. If the color temperature information of the image is invalid, the corrected color value of the each pixel unit is calculated according to the white balance correction coefficient of a previous image, and the color temperature deviation threshold is adjusted.
