Abstract

The invention discloses a codebook generation method of an MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-output) system. The codebook generation method comprises the following steps that a central control station calculates a precoding matrix P through channel information decomposition and solves a trace operation trace (PP<H>)=P0, wherein P0 is a total transmitting power of the MIMO system and P<H> is a conjugate matrix of P; conversion binary operation is carried out on the precoding matrix P to obtain a matrix, and a matrix with a power value of each of elements being 2 is obtained, wherein [.] stands for conversion binary operation, a sending signal of the MIMO system is set as s, and a receiving signal y is shown in the description, wherein H is a channel matrix, n stands for additive white gaussian noise with the mean value of 0, and the multiplication between the matrix and the sending signal s is implemented by binary system shifting. The codebook generation method disclosed by the invention has the advantages of greatly reducing the calculation complexity under the condition of no remarkable performance loss, reducing the hardware resource occupancy rate and meeting the future requirements of a communication network on energy source saving.
