Embodiment Construction

[0021] The specific steps of the mobile camera virtual array calibration method based on parallel parallax in the present invention are as follows:

[0022] 1. Multi-view attitude estimation.

[0023] Estimating camera pose through image sequences and reconstructing sparse points in 3D scenes has always been a research hotspot in computer vision, and there are many mature algorithms. Here we only briefly describe the estimation process.

[0024] First, automatic feature point detection is performed on the input image sequence, and then the feature points between frames are matched and analyzed. Because there may be moving objects in the scene, some feature matches are not correct, so it is necessary to analyze and remove outliers for the analyzed matches. The remaining matching points become inliers, which can be exploited for camera pose estimation. Finally, the estimation results of all frames are optimized under the framework of bundle adjustment to obtain the global opti...

Abstract

The invention discloses a moving camera virtual array calibration method based on parallel parallax. The moving camera virtual array calibration method based on the parallel parallax is used for solving the technical problems that an existing fixed camera virtual array calibration method based on the parallel parallax needs a plurality of cameras. The technical scheme includes imitating a virtual camera array system by means of moving in parallel on a linear guide rail and tracking feature points of images shot at various viewpoints so as to estimate gestures of a multi-view camera. Firstly, a reference plane which is parallel to the direction of the linear guide rail is defined according to the obtained each viewpoint gesture and a homography matrix of each viewpoint induced by the plane and any one reference viewpoint is estimated. Secondly, parallaxes between each viewpoint and the reference viewpoint on the reference plane are calculated by the homography matrix. The relative position of each viewpoint is obtained by means of singular value decomposition (SVD) and calculation of a parallax matrix. When the moving camera virtual array calibration method based on the parallel parallax is used for conducting perspective imaging to a sheltered target in a static scene, a discovering effect is good.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for calibrating a virtual array of mobile cameras, in particular to a method for calibrating a virtual array of mobile cameras based on parallel parallax. Background technique [0002] Among many multi-viewpoint acquisition devices, dense camera arrays are widely used in light field acquisition, free-viewpoint imaging, and synthetic aperture imaging. The traditional camera array is mostly composed of several fixed cameras densely arranged, and its calibration methods mainly include: complete calibration of camera internal parameters and external parameters and calibration methods of parallel parallax. [0003] The document "Using Plane+Parallax for Calibrating Dense Camera Arrays, IEEE CVPR2004, Vol.1Page.I-2-I-9" discloses the construction form of a dense camera array and gives a method based on parallel parallax (Plane+Parallax) Calibration method for fixed camera array. The camera array system is composed of 128 f...
