The device is composed of an electromagnetic wave generator, a coal dust detection chamber, a standard coal sample, electromagnetic wave detectors, a coal dust concentration detector, a microprocessor, a displayer, a storage circuit and a communication circuit. The electromagnetic wave frequency generated by the electromagnetic wave generator is the absorption characteristic frequency of carbon. The electromagnetic waves simultaneously pass through the coal dust detection chamber and the standard coal sample, and are then output to the input ends of the electromagnetic wave detectors. The output signals of the electromagnetic wave detectors and the output of the coal dust concentration detector are input to the microprocessor at the same time. After analysis process, the ash content parameter of coal dust can be displayed. The analysis result is stored to the storage circuit, and is transmitted to a monitoring network through the communication circuit.
