Abstract

The invention relates to a perspective deformation method and system for a planar target image, belonging to the technical field of image processing. The prior art is realized based on a traditional idea of the perspective deformation, and has the disadvantages of a complex processing process, a great calculated amount, a relatively slow processing speed and a relatively high requirement on the image. The perspective deformation still cannot be realized for certain images which cannot provide regular edge information. The method and system disclosed by the invention comprise the steps of: firstly obtaining a source image before the perspective deformation; setting a camera shooting environment parameter corresponding to the perspective deformation; then determining a vertical deformation direction and a horizontal deformation direction, and calculating a vertical deformation coefficient v[i] and a horizontal deformation coefficient h[i]; and finally carrying out deformation computation for the source image so as to obtain a perspective deformation image in the camera shooting environment. According to the invention, the perspective deformation method and system for the planar target image can simplify computation process of the perspective deformation, reduce the calculated amount in the perspective deformation process, and increase the perspective deformation speed.
