Embodiment Construction

[0027] refer to Figures 1 to 5 A light emitting module according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described. Such as figure 1 As shown in A and B, the light emitting module 1 of this embodiment includes: a light emitting board 3 having a light emitting unit 2; a circuit board 4 for supplying power to the light emitting unit 2; box unit 5. The light emitting unit 2 includes a positive electrode 2a, a negative electrode 2c, and a light emitting layer 2b provided between the positive electrode and the negative electrode (described in detail below). In this embodiment, the light emitting unit includes an organic EL device. In the present embodiment, the positive electrode 2a, the light emitting layer 2b, and the negative electrode 2c are each formed in a planar shape (rectangular shape in plan view). The light emitting panel 3 has a plurality of power supply electrodes ( 3 a , 3 b ) each electrically connected to the positive electrode 2 a or the negative el...

Abstract

Disclosed is a light emitting module which has a slim shape, while suppressing a sense of thick case unit that contains a light emitting panel. A light emitting module (1) comprises: a light emitting panel (3) which has feeding electrodes (3a, 3b) that are electrically connected to a positive electrode (2a) or a negative electrode (2c) of a light emitting unit (2); a circuit board (4) which is electrically connected to the feeding electrodes (3a, 3b) and supplies power to the light emitting unit (2); and a case unit (5) which contains the light emitting panel (3) and the circuit board (4). The feeding electrodes (3a, 3b) are arranged in the peripheral portion of the light emitting panel (3), and the electrical connection between the feeding electrodes (3a, 3b) and the circuit board (4) (a land substrate (6)) is obtained by a wiring line (8) that extends from the center of the light emitting panel (3) to the peripheral portion thereof. Due to this configuration, the top portion of the wiring line (8) is located closer to the center of the light emitting panel (3) than to the peripheral portion thereof and thus the wiring line (8) does not easily come into contact with the inner surface of the peripheral portion of the case unit (5), thereby enabling the light emitting module (1) to have a slim shape.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a light emitting module with a light emitting board. Background technique [0002] An electroluminescent (EL) device includes: a transparent substrate; and a light emitting unit formed on the transparent substrate, wherein the light emitting unit includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a light emitting layer disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. When a voltage is applied between the electrodes, electrons and holes serving as carriers are injected into the light emitting layer and recombine with each other to generate excitons, whereby the EL device emits light. [0003] In general, EL devices can be classified into organic EL devices and inorganic EL devices. An organic EL device uses an organic material as a light-emitting material (such as a fluorescent material and a phosphorescent material, etc.) of a light-emitting layer. Inorganic EL devices employ inorganic materials as li...
