Abstract

The method includes selecting cluster heads through a cluster head threshold value; calculating cluster radius, and broadcasting cluster information according to the cluster radius by the cluster heads to wait for cluster members to join in; broadcasting individual information by the cluster members; forming two chainlets in the cluster according to greedy algorithm to transmit information to the cluster heads; and forming multiple hop transmission between the cluster heads to transmit data to a base station. With the improved cluster head selecting method, and energy factors and roadway influencing factors are added, the cluster head threshold value is changed, network energy consumption is equalized and stability is improved. The cluster radius of the cluster close to the base station is reduced, roadway inclined angle factors are added, and dead nodal points around the base station are reduced. Data between the cluster heads are transmitted by the aid of a multiple hop method, so that energy consumption is equalized and roadway environment can be extremely fitted.
