Abstract

The invention relates to a microstrip antenna of a loop-shaped structure, in particular to an oval intersecting nesting multi-loop recursive microstrip antenna for a compass system. The oval intersecting nesting multi-loop recursive microstrip antenna for the compass system is provided with a substrate. Two surfaces of the substrate are coated with good conductors. The good conductors located on the upper surface are processed to be an oval intersecting nesting multi-loop recursive radiating adhesive sheet. An outer loop of the multi-loop recursive radiating adhesive sheet is composed of N oval arcs in an intersecting mode. The focal points of the oval arcs are located on radiating lines of i*360 degrees / N, each oval arc has a long axis and a short axis, and the long axes and the short axes of the oval arcs which form outer contours are identical. A series of recursive nesting contours of the same shape are formed in a shrinking mode according to a ratio eta of the oval short axes of two adjacent loops in the same composing mode.
