The pills are produced by following steps: taking 120g of radix gentianae, 120g of sophora flavescens, 120g of rheum officinale, 120g of radix curcumae and 120g of desmodium grinding; grinding the five ingredients into fine powders together; taking 10 bitter pig gallbladders; and then the powders are made into pills with pig bile as an adhesive, and the pills are as large as phoenix tree seeds. Dosage and administration are that: 9 to 12g each time, and 3 times a day. In one treatment course, all the ingredients with the total amount mentioned above are taken. Advantages of the pills are that: effective rate for treatment of cholecystitis is 95% or more, and cure rate is 80% or more. The pills have no toxic or side effect.
