The method comprises: detecting whether a first selection instruction of a user is received; if the first selection instruction of the user is received, searching a first charging parameter corresponding to the first selection instruction and controlling the charging of the battery based on the first charging parameter; if the first selection instruction of the user is not received, searching corresponding relations, which are obtained based on statistics of saved battery history usage information, between different charging time periods and different types of charging parameters; and determining a second charging parameter corresponding to a charging time period at the current time based on the corresponding relations and controlling the charging of the battery based on the second charging parameter.
