Abstract

The invention discloses a method for removing odour of acid tar. The method comprises a step of stirring and mixing uniformly slaked lime and acid tar in a stainless steel reaction tank, in which the weight ratio of the slaked lime and the acid tar is 1:8-1:10; a step of pumping gas after reaction into a washing tower by using a blower, and discharging the gas after coal tar washing oil absorption; a step of allowing the acid tar and the slaked lime after reaction to stand for 0.4-0.6h to solidify the acid tar; and a step of smashing the solidified acid tar into particles having a particle size less than 3mm by using a hammer crusher, and sending the particles back to a coal blending belt to be re-blended. According to the method, the powder-form slaked lime is added into the acid tar as a solidifying and deodorizing agent, and therefore bad odor of the acid tar is removed and the acid tar is solidified. After being smashed, the solidified acid tar can be easily re-blended into coking coal and used for coking, and therefore problems, of the acid tar, comprising corrosion to equipment, belt adhesion, re-blending difficulty, and environment pollution are solved. The method provided by the invention is suitable for popularization and application in coking industry.
