Abstract

The invention discloses a cultural method which makes bougainvillea thick in diameter, straight and high, and a vigorous bracket used by the same. Besides conventional seedling culture, the method further comprises the following steps of (1) in a seedling period, setting up an inclined support rod on a cement pillar for each seedling, and binding the main stem extending on the support rod; (2) reserving lateral branches according to height of the main stem, dividing the lateral branches into three to five layers; and reserving one to two branches in each layer; (3) picking up the heart and lignifying after the main stem reaches the predetermined height, and lifting and planting the seedling; and (4) planting the planted bougainvillea in a tree pool, wherein the main stem part is attached and binded to the vigorous bracket which is at least 2m high, and the shape of the space surrounded by the whole vigorous bracket and the lateral branches and flowers on the bracket can be various attractive shapes such as spheres, ovoids and the like.
