According to the vacuumizing method for the reactor coolant system of the nuclear power plant, disclosed by the invention, through emptying the pressurizer relief tank in advance, so that when the reactor coolant system is subjected to the vacuumizing by using the vacuum pump, the pressurizer relief tank can contain part of gas so as to shorten the vacuumizing time of the vacuum pump, thereby achieving the purpose of shortening the air extraction time and improving the economical efficiency of the nuclear power plant under the condition of not changing the original system configuration.
