Dynamic shooting performance and stability of the tank gun controlling system can be improved. The method includes: firstly, building a tank gun high-low stabilizer control model, secondly, designing a sliding mode variable structure switching function and a control law thereof according to the control model, thirdly, designing an active disturbance rejection controller according to the control module, and finally designing a composite controller of the tank gun controlling system according to the switching function, the control law and the active disturbance rejection controller. The active disturbance rejection controller comprises a tracking differentiator, an extended state observer and a nonlinear feedback control law.
