Abstract

The invention provides a system and a method for setting a wireless network. The system comprises a setting end device, a target electronic device, and a first wireless access point. First, the target electronic device is converted to a specific wireless access point which broadcasts wireless beacons in a wireless transmitting range. The setting end device scans all the wireless access points in a wireless sensing range. When wireless beacons broadcast by the target electronic device are detected, the setting end device connects with the target electronic device by using wireless network protocols. Then the setting end device obtains a first wireless access point configuration file corresponding to the first wireless access point, and transmits the first wireless access point configuration file to the target electronic device. The target electronic device connects with the first wireless access point according to the first wireless access point configuration file.
