Abstract

The invention discloses a traditional Chinese medicine preparation for treating neurasthenia. Traditional Chinese medicine holdsthat neurasthenia is mainly caused by heart-spleen deficiency, pathogenic fire produced by depression of the liver, internal disturbance of pyrophlegm, fire excess from yin deficiency and the like. The traditional Chinese medicines which include asarum caulescens maxim, prepared liquorice root, brassica oleracea, Chinese holly leaves, cladonia alpestris, humifuse euphorbia herb, ganoderma lucidum, narrow-leaved lindernia, stiff silkworm, rhizoma typhonii, Chinese pyrola herb and intermediate peashrub flower and have the effects of nourishing the heart and tonifying the spleen, removing heat from the liver and dispelling depression, clearing heat and eliminating phlegm as well as nourishing yin and reducing internal heat are selected; and the traditional Chinese medicines are decocted with water into a decoction by a preparation room. Clinical tests show that the cure rate is 40.9%, the total effective rate is 99.1% and no relapse occurs in follow-up visits.
