[0017] Poisson's ratio is the absolute value of the ratio of the transverse strain to the longitudinal strain of the material, also called the transverse deformation coefficient, which is an elastic constant reflecting the transverse deformation of the material. Typically, materials have a positive Poisson's ratio, meaning that when a material is stretched longitudinally, its transverse dimension shrinks. A material is a negative Poisson's ratio material if its transverse dimension becomes larger when it is stretched longitudinally. The present invention is designed based on this characteristic of the negative Poisson's ratio material.
