Abstract

Disclosed is a vehicle speedometer calibration method. A moving reflected light signal is generated in a light-emitting diode array and provided for the vehicle speedometer to measure. A single-chip microcomputer is used for outputting an actual moving speed of the reflected light signal. The measured moving speed of the reflected light signal by the vehicle speedometer is compared with the actual moving speed of the reflected light signal controlled by the single-chip microcomputer, and a speed measurement error of the vehicle speedometer can be obtained. An apparatus achieving the above method comprises a light emitting diode array. Pins of light emitting diodes are connected to an output end of a drive circuit. An input end of the drive circuit is connected to the single-chip microcomputer. A pin on the single-chip microcomputer is also connected to a speed signal output device.
