Abstract

In order to solve underwater sealing waterproof problem at low cost, the invention provides a waterproof sealing shell which is characterized in that an upper cover covers on a bottom plate, an L-shaped plate on the bottom plate is matched with the upper cover to form a gap air chamber, the upper cover and the bottom plate are connected through one of the manners of rivet connection, sealant bonding, welding, and bolt and nut connection, and both of the upper cover and the bottom plate are made of an impermeable material. The fundamental principle of water resistance of the waterproof sealing shell is that the connection of the upper cover and the bottom plate is free of sealing by means of internal and external pressure balance; when water enters the gap air chamber from a connection gap of the upper cover and the bottom plate, a water sealing effect is exerted on the gap of the upper cover and the bottom plate, and air within the gap air chamber is compressed; when the internal air pressure is equal to the external water pressure, a sealing effect is achieved; and the water is prevented from being in contact with an object in the gap air chamber due to the height thereof.
