The control method comprises the steps of controlling operation of the compressor at the first rotation speed after an air conditioner is started; obtaining the temperature set by a user, in-vehicle temperature, out-vehicle temperature, solar radiation intensity, evaporator temperature and compressor rotation speed at intervals of a first long sampling period; judging whether the parameters are within a corresponding normal range or not; indicating that the evaporator temperature is larger than an evaporator temperature threshold value if the parameters are within the corresponding normal range; confirming optimal rotation speed according to the parameters and enabling the compressor to run at the optimal rotation speed if the parameters are not within the corresponding normal range. The control method takes the parameters into consideration to control the rotation speed of the compressor, enables finally-confirmed target rotation speed of the compressor to be reasonable and reduces the fluctuation of the in-vehicle temperature and energy consumption of the electric vehicle to some extent.
