Abstract

The method includes the steps that based on a distributed framework, a massive amount of video acquired by video acquisition devices installed in different geographical positions are analyzed in parallel so as to recognize the characteristic target with the trajectory to be determined; based on time stamps in recognized video frames containing the characteristic target and the information of positions where the video acquisition devices for acquiring the corresponding video frames are located, the times when the characteristic target occurs in the geographical positions for acquisition are recognized in parallel, and the characteristic target is correlated with the occurrence times of the characteristic target and the geographical positions where the characteristic target occurs; based on the correlation between the occurrence times of the characteristic target and the geographical positions where the characteristic target occurs obtained through statistics, the geographical positions where the characteristic target occurs are sequentially connected according to the sequence of the occurrence times of the same characteristic target, and thus the motion trajectory of the same characteristic target is formed.
