Abstract

The invention discloses a crane jib forming device and a crane jib forming method. The crane jib forming device comprises a module assembly, a driving device and a pressurizing device, wherein the module assembly comprises a first module and a second module which are arranged oppositely; the first module is used for supporting a jib plate; the driving device is used for driving the second module to be pressed against the first module; the pressurizing device is used for pressurizing the rib plate along a direction opposite to a rebounding direction. When the forming device is used for processing a crane jig, only one-time pressurizing and one-time rebounding-proof pre-pressurizing are needed, operation is easy and convenient, and high forming efficiency is realized. Moreover, the same driving force and pressure are set specific to jib plates of the same batch to obtain crane jibs with high section size consistence. Finally, compression molding is adopted, thereby preventing crease lines in a forming process and keeping the consistence of the mechanical property of the crane jib.
