Abstract

A cache control method comprises steps as follows: a cluster comprising a plurality of servers forms a layered network structure; each layer in the structure is formed by connecting a plurality of nodes in the form of a set first structure; each first structure forms a node of the previous network structure; the bottommost layer comprises one or more first structures, each server in the cluster is taken as a node in the first structure of the bottommost layer; the first structure is formed by n nodes according to the preset rules: each node of the n nodes is connected with k nodes in the n nodes, k is larger than 0 and smaller than n, and n is larger than 1; and when cache data are judged to be updated, an update notification is sent to the first structure on the top layer and transmitted to the first structure on the bottommost layer in a layer-by-layer manner until all the nodes of the first structure on the bottommost layer acquire the updating notification, so that the servers in the cluster can update the cache data. The invention further provides a cache control system. According to the cache control method and system, the local cache of each server in the cluster can be timely updated and synchronized.
