The starting control method comprises a pump storage group, an LCU 5, the SPC, an excitation system and a monitor system. The pump storage group, the LCU5, the excitation system and the monitor system are electrically connected with the SPC. The pump storage group, the LCU5 and the excitation system are electrically connected with the monitoring system. The pump storage group is electrically connected with the LCU5. The monitor system sends an instruction of SFC starting preparation to the LCU5, and then the LCU5 and the SFC jointly complete preparatory work before the pump storage group is started by the SFC. The monitor system sends an instruction to the LCU5 for pulling open a dragged knife switch of the pump storage group.
