The CAN transceiver reads the vehicle speed information and the collision information and sends the vehicle speed information and the collision information to the central processor. The central processor calculates a deceleration value of an operation of a vehicle on the basis of the vehicle speed information. If the automobile data recorder is in on state and the deceleration value achieves a preset value or the collision information is received, an accident situation storage function of the automobile data recorder is activated; if the automobile data recorder is in off state and the deceleration value achieves a preset value or the collision information is received, the automobile data recorder is started and the accident situation storage function of the automobile data recorder is activated.
