The invention discloses a magnetic shunt and hybrid pole type synchronous motor which comprises a housing, a stator and a rotor, wherein the stator and the rotor are arranged in the housing; electro-magnetic N poles on the rotor extend along one axial end of the rotor in a horn-shaped manner, and are gathered at a circular electro-magnetic N pole shoe; electro-magnetic S poles extend along the axial end of the rotor in a bottleneck-shaped manner, and are gathered at a circular electro-magnetic S pole shoe; an excitation bracket, in which an excitation winding can be embedded, is arranged between the circular electro-magnetic N pole shoe and the circular electro-magnetic S pole shoe. An axial magnetic circuit used for flux adjustment passes through the circular electro-magnetic N pole shoe, the excitation bracket and the circular electro-magnetic S pole shoe, instead of an end cover and the housing. A permanent magnetic circuit and an electro-magnetic circuit are independent of each other, and are neither connected in parallel, nor connected in series, and demagnetizing risks are avoided.
