Abstract

The invention discloses a novel method for domain knowledge representation and service, namely, a knowledge banyan net representation system and a service framework. The knowledge banyan net representation system can represent declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge simultaneously, the declarative knowledge described by using the knowledge banyan net representation system contains attribute description knowledge and relevance knowledge, and the procedural knowledge refers to inferential rules and methods on the basis of the declarative knowledge described by using the knowledge banyan net representation system. A domain system and a knowledge service platform can be quickly established for providing management and retrieval of data, information and knowledge for a domain by using the knowledge banyan net representation system and the service framework.
