The invention relates to a simple soft start circuit which comprises an input wiring terminal for being connected with 220V single-phase alternating current, wherein the output end of the input wiring terminal is connected with a power conversion circuit through a protection circuit; the power conversion circuit respectively supplies power to a synchronizing signal detection circuit, a trigger circuit and a main circuit; the output end of the synchronizing signal detection circuit is connected with the input end of the trigger circuit; the output end of the trigger circuit is connected with the input end of the main circuit; the output end of the main circuit is connected with a load through an output wiring terminal. Alternating current voltage outputted by the main circuit is linearly increased from 0V to 220V in set time by the trigger circuit; the voltage linearity is increased during start, so that start current is increased from 0 to a rated value, and further the aim of soft start is achieved.
