Abstract

The invention relates to a beauty-maintaining face applying cream containing a saussurea involucrate extract. The beauty-maintaining face applying cream is prepared from an antioxidant composition and auxiliary materials, wherein the antioxidant composition is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 0.1-5 parts of the saussurea involucrate extract, 0.1-2 parts of carnosine and 0.1-2 parts of glutathione; and the auxiliary materials are more than three of ethyl alcohol, sodium chloride, propylene glycol, glycerol, apricot kernel oil, polyglycerin oleate, avocado oil, silicone oil, lanolin, hydrogenated castor oil, PEG-100 stearate, hexadecanol, caprylic acid/caprin, diglycol monostearate, vaseline, beewax or water. The antioxidant composition is capable of resisting ultraviolet radiation, clearing free radicals, and playing a role in delaying skin aging when being applied to the face applying cream.
