Abstract

The present invention relates to an ECM strip for plugging leaks in percutaneous heart valves. Devices and methods for medically sealing paravalvular leaks associated with implanted valves are described. For example, a bioabsorbable tissue-permeable sheet is provided for insertion through a paravalvular leak. Filaments extending through the sheet are also provided, causing the sheet to gather around the filaments on each side of the paravalvular leak when the filaments are drawn. The gathered position of the sheets can be fixed by a series of stops and / or by the use of capping members.
