This application relates to the field of medical devices, specifically to a novel atrial septal puncture guidewire and a puncture
system composed of the guidewire. The guidewire includes a guidewire body, a tip
electrode, a spring, and an insulating layer. The tip
electrode is a
metal cavity with a through-hole at one end for the guidewire body to pass through and a closed, smooth spherical surface at the other end. Both ends of the guidewire body pass through the through-hole and are welded to a tip
electrode inside the smooth spherical surface. One end of the guidewire body is bent into a "J" shape, and the other end is a
pigtail shape formed by multiple bends. When performing puncture using this
system, the
pigtail end is used for puncture. After puncture, the tip electrode at the
pigtail end can be restored to a pigtail shape in the
left atrium for fixation, providing a stable
anchor point for
catheter advancement. Simultaneously, clear imaging is possible under ICE (Internal Chest Imaging), reducing the
radiation exposure time during puncture. The "J"-shaped end is used as a monopolar mapping electrode in the atrium, reducing the number of instruments used during the procedure.
