The position-adjustable mounting plate is arranged. By adjusting the position of the mounting plate on the roll disk, the mounting plate drives up and down position adjusting of the roll wheel. The space between the output direction of the roll wheel and the output position of a cable is changed. By setting the output direction of the roll wheel, the output direction of a steel strip always outputs to the armoring input position of the cable. In a steel strip armoring process, the condition that the output positions of the steel strip and the roll wheel are adjusted according to cables of different diameters is avoided. The problems of strip blocking and strip breaking in the steel strip armoring process are avoided. The invention further provides a cable armoring machine.
