Abstract

The invention discloses a seed germination device and method for experimental measurement. According to the seed germination device and method, a traditional germination device and method are improved. The seed germination device comprises a cylindrical bottle body and a group of glass plates which can be arranged in the bottle body, wherein each glass plate is vertically and independently arranged in the bottle body and is provided with filter paper or water absorption paper. The seed germination method comprises the following steps: firstly horizontally placing the glass plates, placing seeds on each glass plate, covering the glass plates with the filter paper or the water absorption paper which is wet by sterilization water so as to cover the seeds, pouring the sterilization water into the bottle body, vertically placing the group of glass plates with the seeds into the cylindrical bottle body, and sealing the cylindrical bottle body with a sealing film; and putting the bottle body into an incubator, and measuring various indexes at regular intervals. By virtue of the seed germination device, the upward germination of the seeds is assisted, and the counting and length measurement of the indexes can be conveniently and visually carried out.
