Abstract

The invention provides an evaluation standard and a test method and discloses a method for testing the capability of a synchronous generator in adjusting the voltage of a main transformer high-voltage side bus, for solving the problem that there is not a concrete evaluation standard and a test method for evaluating and testing the capability of a conventional synchronous generator in regulating and controlling the voltage of a main transformer high-voltage side bus. The method comprises the following steps: running a detected synchronous generator under a load condition, and adjusting the active power of the synchronous generator to a predetermined value P; performing a voltage step test on the detected synchronous generator, calculating a ratio delta Us/delta Q of a voltage change value delta Us to a reactive power change value delta Q of the main transformer high-voltage side bus of the detected synchronous generator before and after the test; and establishing a relation curve between the predetermined value P and the ratio delta Us/delta Q. The test method brought forward by the invention combines testing with curve fitting and effectively tests the capability of the synchronous generator in regulating and controlling the voltage of the main transformer high-voltage side bus. A test result can be used for quite accurately evaluating the capability of the synchronous generator in regulating and controlling the voltage of the main transformer high-voltage side bus. Therefore, the method has quite high economic benefits and a quite high utility value.
