Abstract

The invention discloses a binocular view stereo matching method under a variable light source. The method comprises the steps of S1, carrying out stereo matching on a binocular view under the variable light source to as to acquire a parallax image; S2, extracting an image foreground region correspondingly from the binocular view by using the parallax image; S3, carrying out light source estimation on the extracted image foreground region by using a color constancy algorithm of a Bayesian theory framework; S4, carrying out color correction on the binocular view by using an estimated light source value; S5, carrying out stereo matching again on the binocular view after color correction so as to acquire a new parallax image; and repeating the steps S2-S5 until a calculated parallax value is restrained to a true parallax value or reaches a set number of iterations. The method disclosed by the invention can effectively improve the accuracy in stereo matching of the binocular view under the variable light source.
