The remote device automatically completes the software downloading, detection, storage, verification, backup and update processes and is not influenced by power down; the remote device is failed in upgrading, and still able to automatically recover the original edition software and recover the device working state to maintain the normal running; through obtaining the edition information of all devices, the centralized control device judges if the upgrading is successful or not. The method and the system can realize the batch upgrading and recovery on the software of a plurality of remote devices.
