The computer is used for preprocessing the captured image to obtain a binary image, separating the to-be-recognized character zone from the binary image, performing image segmentation of each to-be-recognized character image in the to-be-recognized character zone, recognizing multiple to-be-recognized character images subjected to segmentation one by one by comparing with the template character library, and showing recognized characters according to a set character recognition sequence.
