Embodiment Construction

[0030] Please refer to figure 2 , which is a schematic structural diagram illustrating a stereoscopic image display 200 according to an embodiment of the present invention. The stereoscopic image display 200 includes a liquid crystal display device 210 and a barrier panel 220 . In this embodiment, the liquid crystal display device 210 is an In-Plane Switching (IPS) liquid crystal display device, but the embodiments of the present invention are not limited thereto. In other embodiments of the present invention, the liquid crystal display device 210 may be a twisted nematic liquid crystal (TN) liquid crystal display device, a vertical alignment (Vertical Alignment; VA) liquid crystal display device, and the like. The barrier panel 220 is arranged on the liquid crystal display device 210, wherein when the barrier panel 220 is opened, the effect of a barrier can be provided to enable the stereoscopic image display 200 to enter a 3D display mode, and when the barrier panel 220 is...

Abstract

The invention discloses a stereoscopic display comprising a liquid crystal display device and a parallax barrier panel disposed on the liquid crystal display device. In one embodiment, a liquid crystal display may include a backlight module and a liquid crystal display panel. The liquid crystal display device comprises multiple display pixel units each of which is in a V shape. The parallax barrier panel comprises multiple barrier pixel units. Each barrier pixel unit is in a V shape the same as that of each display pixel unit and comprises a pixel electrode layer in a V shape, a liquid crystal layer arranged on the pixel electrode layer, and a common electrode layer arranged on the liquid crystal layer.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a stereoscopic image display, in particular to a parallax barrier type stereoscopic image display capable of switching between a plane display (2D) mode and a stereoscopic display (3D) mode. Background technique [0002] In order to meet human pursuit of stereoscopic vision reproduction, the development of display technology has gradually shifted from flat display to stereoscopic display. As early as the time of Euclid and Aristotle, people noticed that although people have two eyes and the images received by the two retinas are different, people will not have the trouble of seeing double images. Later, through rigorous animal and human experiments, it was confirmed that there are cells in the retina dedicated to stereo vision, and the brain fuses images from two different perspectives to generate depth perception. [0003] Human stereo vision is caused by the binocular parallax effect. Binocular parallax means that t...
