Abstract

The invention provides a positioning information assistance-based massive multi-input multi-output beamforming method. The objective of the invention is to solve the problem of high computational complexity in an existing massive multi-input multi-output beamforming method. The method includes the following steps that: (1) a user terminal obtains positioning information of the user terminal itself and sends the positioning information to a base station; (2) the base station obtains its own positioning information; (3) the base station calculates a direction of arrival according to the positioning information of the base station itself and the positioning information of the user terminal; and (4) the base station calculates beamforming vectors according to the direction of arrival.
