The communication unit is connected with the monitoring terminal arranged outside the machine cabinet in a communication way. With application of the aforementioned mode, electric energy utilization efficiency in the power distribution cabinet can be remotely monitored in real time, the working condition data of the electric energy meter are acquired by utilizing the electric energy monitor, the electric energy monitoring device and the data acquisition unit, and the acquired working condition data are uploaded to the monitoring terminal after format conversion by utilizing the communication unit so that electricity utilization reliability and electric energy efficiency can be enhanced, and operation cost and equipment failure rate of the power distribution cabinet can be reduced.
