Abstract

The invention provides a method for manufacturing a felt pad by using waste clothes. The method comprises the following steps: sequentially carrying out pre-treatment, disinfection, first path of crushing and foreign matter treatment on the dry waste clothes to obtain primary fibers; sequentially carrying out second path of crushing, carding, cutting-off and mixing on the primary fibers to obtain final staple fibers; spreading final staple fiber layers, wherein the thickness of each final staple fiber layer is 0.7mm-1.1mm; spreading a PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) monofilament net between each two layers of the final staple fiber layers to produce a fiber net; puncturing the fiber net by using a needling machine and hotly pressing for 8-15 minutes under the conditions that the temperature is 83-91 DEG C and the pressure is 0.8Mpa-1.3Mpa, so as to produce a felt pad semi-finished product; and carrying out stitch bonding treatment on the felt pad semi-finished product by using a stitch-bonding machine, and forming a grid-shaped stitch-bonding line on the felt pad semi-finished product to prepare the felt pad. The felt pad is produced through the waste clothes; and the method is simple and has low cost, and the reutilization of the waste clothes is realized.
