Abstract

The invention puts forward a detection device and detection method for ferromagnetic abrasive grains in liquid oil. The device comprises a detection unit and a processor unit. The detection unit includes: a quartz crystal sensor that is disposed in the shell to divide the shell into a detection cavity and an oil holding cavity; a magnet disposed in the detection cavity; a main control board that is disposed in the detection cavity and is connected to the processor unit. The main control board is used for detecting the vibration signal of the quartz crystal sensor's quartz wafer, and the processor unit acquires the content of ferromagnetic abrasive grains in the to-be-detected oil according to the corresponding relationship of the vibration signal and the content of ferromagnetic abrasive grains in the to-be-detected oil.
